Escapology, World’s Largest Escape Room Franchise, Opens at Fountains at Roseville

Roseville, CA (MPG) – Escapology, the world’s largest escape room brand, is
celebrating the grand opening of a spacious new escape room venue at 11 a.m. on Aug. 4,
2026, at Fountains at Roseville in the space previously occupied by Orvis. The new 5228-
square-foot location features ten themed escape rooms, including the brand new Now You See
Me Escape Room Experience, Batman: The Dark Knight Challenge; Scooby-Doo and the
Spooky Castle Adventure; A Pirate’s Curse; Mansion Murder, Lost City, Haunted House and
more, and represents the company’s 118th location worldwide. Grand opening activities will
support nonprofit CASA Placer Yuba Sutter with a cash donation and team building experience
for volunteers and children.

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Escapology has tapped into the popularity of escape rooms,
which are now among the fastest-growing entertainment venues in the United States. A decade
ago, there were just two dozen in existence; today, there are about 2,000. “We try to be at the
forefront of the escape room industry - improving the guest experience by becoming more
immersive and tech-focused,” Heiss said. “Escapology continues to develop sophisticated new
games and announce new licensing deals to bring popular names, brands and characters to
our customers.”
The new Escapology Roseville is in the space previously occupied by Orvis, adjacent to DSW
and across from Dave & Busters. The new Escapology will employ approximately 20
employees. Escapology joins this attractive leisure destination offering dining, shopping,
wellness and other entertainment experiences.

On the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m., Escapology Roseville will host a ribbon-
cutting with the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, with an open house for attending guests to
check out all the escape room themes through 1 p.m. The first 75 guests to tour the space
will receive a free player pass (limit one per person, white supplies last) - and the public is
invited to attend!
That evening, Escapology Roseville will host special grand opening events on Aug. 4.
CASA of Placer, Yuba& Sutter (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) supports and empowers foster children, at-risk youth, and families in crisis by connecting them with
compassionate volunteer advocates who provide hope, guidance and a pathway to stability and
lasting permanency. CASA volunteers and their charges will enjoy a night of team building and
collaboration skills to break out of the escape rooms. Escapology will also present a donation to
CASA of $3,000 to support its programs in the community.
