AUBRUN, CA (MPG) - Placer County’s Business Advantage Network is inviting local employers, non-profits and community partners to attend an informational event highlighting the Help to Hire program, which supports workforce development and reduces hiring costs for local businesses.

The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at the Auburn HHS Center (11434 B Avenue). A virtual attendance option is also available for participants unable to attend in person. Register now at this link.

Attendees will learn how eligible businesses can receive up to $10,500 in reimbursement for hiring Employment Services participants through the Help to Hire Program. The program offers: a 100% wage subsidy for the first 30 days of employment; additional monthly stipends for up to six months to help offset labor costs; and a potential one-time $500 bonus for eligible participants hired in 2026/

The Business Advantage Network hopes the event will serve as a gateway for employers to connect with motivated job seekers while helping build a stronger local workforce. The Help to Hire incentives are designed to open doors for residents who may face barriers to employment, creating meaningful opportunities that benefit both businesses and the broader community.
