AUBURN, CA (MPG) - Generations Healthcare is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of Siena Terraces, its newest adult residential facility (ARF), located at 11600 Education Street in Auburn, CA. The official groundbreaking ceremony was attended by local health care and community leaders on Aug. 14, from 12 to 3 p.m. 

The construction of Siena Terraces, made possible through $13 million in funding from California’s Community Care Expansion program, marks a significant milestone for Generations Healthcare. Adjacent to Siena Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, this new facility will offer 78 beds and cater to a diverse group of individuals, including seniors, adults and adults with disabilities who are at risk of homelessness and lack alternatives to hospitalization.

“We’re excited to break ground on Siena Terraces, which will provide crucial services to individuals with behavioral health conditions and physical disabilities,” said Thomas Jurbala, director of business development, behavioral health at Generations Healthcare. 

“Our aim is to create a supportive environment that helps prevent homelessness and meets the needs of our community. We believe this facility will do just that.”

Siena Terraces will offer a comprehensive range of services, including prevocational resident activities, job placement assistance, permanent housing placement and private and group therapy sessions. This vital project is funded by the State of California’s Community Care Expansion Program and represents a new model for behavioral health rehabilitation. The facility is expected to be operational by January 2026.
