AUBURN, CA - In response to prolonged power outages, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) opened community resource centers at two strategic locations in Placer County, according to Placer County officials on Feb. 7.

These centers aim to assist residents, particularly those with medical devices, by providing essential services throughout the outage's duration.

Currently operational from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. are two PG&E Community Resource Centers at Stewart Hall, 6005 Camp Far West Road, Sheridan; and Loomis Memorial Hall, 5945 Horseshoe Bar Road, Loomis.

Available resources include blankets, snacks and water, heating, device charging, ice, ADA-accessible restroom and washing station, seating, small medical-device charging and Wi-Fi.
